Peptide Calculator: Precise Dosage Calculation

Our peptide calculator assists you in determining the exact amount of water to mix with your peptide powder, ensuring precise dosing. Follow these steps for optimal use:

Step 1: Choose Your Syringe Type

Select the type of syringe you are using. Different syringes have various measurement scales, and choosing the appropriate one ensures the calculator provides accurate results. Common syringe sizes include:

  • 1mL syringe: Marked in 10-unit increments (e.g., 10, 20, 30, up to 100 units). Ideal for small doses requiring high precision.
  • 3mL syringe: Marked in larger increments, suitable for medium doses.
  • 5mL syringe: Holds more volume, used for larger doses.

Choosing the correct syringe size is crucial for accurate measurement and administration. Smaller syringes provide more precise measurements, which is important for small doses.

Step 2: Enter the Peptide Amount

Input the amount of peptide in your vial. Peptide vials come in various quantities, and specifying the correct amount is essential for accurate dilution. Common quantities include 1mg, 5mg, 10mg, or 15mg. If your quantity is not listed, you can manually enter the exact amount. This step ensures the calculator knows the total peptide amount available for dilution, necessary for accurate dose calculation.

Step 3: Add the Water Volume

Determine the volume of bacteriostatic water for mixing. Bacteriostatic water is sterile and contains a small amount of antibacterial agent to keep the solution bacteria-free. The volume of water affects the concentration of the peptide solution. Enter the water volume in milliliters (mL). For example, if you add 2mL, it will be recorded in the calculator. Adding more water dilutes the peptide, reducing the concentration per milliliter, while less water increases the concentration.

Step 4: Set Your Desired Dose

Enter your desired dose in micrograms (mcg). This is the amount of peptide you plan to inject each time. By entering the desired dose in mcg, the calculator can determine the necessary concentration of the solution. For instance, if you need a specific dose, the calculator will provide the required volume of the mixed solution to achieve that dose.

Step 5: Review the Visual Dosage Meter

After entering all the information, the calculator will display a visual meter showing the amount of solution you need to draw up in your syringe for the correct dose. Remember, 100 units on the syringe equals 1mL. This visual aid ensures you draw the correct amount of solution, making the process straightforward and reducing the chance of errors.
